Worktop repair

Even if the damage cannot be completely removed, it can still be made less noticeable.

Chips and broken corners on granite, marble, quartz, ceramic and other stone countertops can often be effectively minimised with professional tools. However, making damage less noticeable on certain countertops can be more challenging.

Countertop repair involves several steps that require specialised knowledge and skills.

  • First, the sharp edges of the damaged area are sanded to a smooth finish and surfaces are thoroughly cleaned.
  • A colour-matched filler is then selected or custom-mixed.
  • The damaged area is filled with the filling compound (using a stencil if needed to achieve the correct shape).
  • The filler is cured using a UV lamp.
  • After curing, the surface is sanded and polished with a polishing paste.

We use professional StoneLux and Akemi products and tools that provide precise options for repairing stone surfaces with various textures and colours.
